I have a couple of Home Depot mugs that I bought for mixing paint. Unfortunately, the first markings on the mug are "blurred" or "smudged". This calls into question the accuracy of all markings. I've used them with cheaper paints for a while and they mostly worked, although some paints didn't cure properly. When I had to mix some more expensive colors I didn't want to risk whether these mugs were accurate or not. The markings on these mugs are clear and clean and appear dotted. I used this to mix up the neon red paint and the paint settled and cured as it should. Accurate labeling isn't really important when purchasing a mixing cup, as that is ultimately their goal, but it's obviously asking too much of a cup that's likely to be made for non-critical applications. These mugs are accurately marked and will likely accompany me for a lifetime.
