I did a lot of research before buying this product. I need a portable desk that allows me to type large amounts of text on my MacBook when I'm not at work without straining my wrists. I made the decision to return this portable table within an hour of its arrival. The design of the desk is such that the 13 inch MacBook Pro will not slide off without using the built-in clips. With the clips in place, you can't use a laptop keyboard without them digging into your wrists due to their placement (I find the clips are of relatively poor quality and seem to break). would have worked just fine using just a table on a flat surface as a screen stand, but the whole point was getting away from my desk. To avoid a return I tested it on my iPad to see if it could be a useful setup. , I'm 5'5". The ergonomics of this desk meant that I could only get the keyboard *close* to my desired sitting height if I set it to its lowest setting. This resulted in the iPad's screen being low enough was to cause neck strain with prolonged use. Also, my wrists still stayed at the wrong angle. Also, you have to take the iPad out of the case to fit it in the slot, and the unstable design of the height adjustment mechanisms causes my iPad Due to the slot falling out I have given this desk two stars several times because it would suffice if you just want to watch TV or surf the web, but if you plan on using it for a significant amount of work, look elsewhere.
