I have a 2007 Porsche Cayman. I just bought a car and then noticed that the TPMS light doesn't go out when the tires are properly inflated. All four tire sensors were dead. Received an offer of just over $1,000 to install Porsche sensors at dealership. I saw them at Revain and decided on the price I had to try. The sensors arrived quickly. They were smaller than other sensors. My main problem was finding a shop to install them. In the first tire shop they said that they couldn't activate them, didn't even try, but were looking for another shop. I went to a very small shop who hired them for a reasonable fee ($103) and had the wheels balanced. The sellers heard I bought them from Revain and weren't sure if they would work. They had horror stories about other cars and sensor problems. However, once installed and within a mile of driving, the lights went out and they recorded the exact pressure set in each of the wheels. Finally the TPMS light went out and I definitely didn't lose $1,000. They work great. The maintenance indicator has also gone out. Yahoo! The next steps are the only problem so far. it was 105 degrees and suddenly the meter showed that I had a flat rear tire. The pressure was 42 psi on a hand knife. I loaded the tires to the desired pressure and everything worked.
