The sensors must have the correct MHz.

I liked the fact that they worked as advertised. We installed the sensors and after about a day the tire pressure was showing on the display as expected. That was on an Audi A8 from 2005.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are flaws

Replacement tire pressure sensor for Porsche

I bought these sensors to replace 4 tire pressure sensors on a 2008 Porsche 911 Carrara (997) and they worked as advertised. They are already set up and configured to work with the vehicle, all you have to do is install them at the tire shop and drive. A car that had a previous fault called TPS Learning will read the new sensors and after about 5-10 minutes the display will show tire pressure. No programming required.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Save big on OEM/dealer TPMS. They work great in my 2007 Carrera Cab.

As mentioned, some stores don't understand that this is "plug and play". They are pre-programmed and do not need to be activated or programmed. My tire shop (Americas Tire) returned it to me and said they couldn't activate it. I told them not to worry, just install them and I'll do the rest. After installation I followed the TPMS reset/learn procedure and started driving. After 5-10 minutes all four registered.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I won't say anything

They are quickly programmed to the car

I installed them on a 2008 Audi A8l, the old sensors showed zero months of battery life. They were easy to install. I tested the new sensors with a Bar-Tec TPMS scanner. All sensors showed a battery life of 72 months. I reinstalled the TPM system in the MMI. I pulled up a screen in the MMI that showed the individual tire pressures, after about 3 miles the screen showed the readings from all 5 sensors. I spent about $125 for 5 new sensors, I was able to buy one at the dealer for the same price…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

They look like a good product

They look like a good product but the problem is in the installation. You need a specialist shop with special tools to set up the sensor. If you go to TireRack, Firestone, or a franchised repair shop, it won't install it. They only install products purchased from the same place. Therefore, installation is not easy, and this is not a DIY project. And finding a special place is very difficult. My recommendation is to consider where you want to install them before you buy. And, most likely, you…

Do not buy! in Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)

I ordered tires through Costco which took a month to receive due to specialty tires. A month later we agreed on the installation. When I showed Costco's TPMS they said they didn't have a programming tool to make sure it was working properly so I took the risk they programmed. They know the workers don't take commissions, they just work for volume and less hassle. So I contacted Mobiletron for a refund even though 10 weeks into the future and they ignored me twice. Finally after 4 months they…

2007 Boxster fits accessories and parts

Ordered these for my 2007 Boxster as so many people have had success with them on their 2007 Cayman. Essentially the same car with a hardtop instead of a convertible. The sensors work exactly as advertised and exactly as the reviewers say. I had the exact same problem with the store being reluctant to install them because they couldn't read them. The store wanted to order a different set from NAPA and use them in place of the ones I brought. After convincing them they would work they installed…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Unnecessary features

They fit perfectly on my 2007 Porsche Cayman S

They fit perfectly on my 2007 Porsche Cayman S. No programming required, just install and go, and they sync to the car automatically. (On the car dashboard you need to go to the main menu, select TPMS, select the tire size again and press enter to start the learning process). Significantly cheaper than OEM sensors. However, tire fitters don't seem to know anything about these sensors. I went to a big box of car tires and they told me the sensors were dead. Well of course they are inactive and I

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • Slightly wrinkled

Works great in my 2007 Porsche Cayman. More than satisfied.

I have a 2007 Porsche Cayman. I just bought a car and then noticed that the TPMS light doesn't go out when the tires are properly inflated. All four tire sensors were dead. Received an offer of just over $1,000 to install Porsche sensors at dealership. I saw them at Revain and decided on the price I had to try. The sensors arrived quickly. They were smaller than other sensors. My main problem was finding a shop to install them. In the first tire shop they said that they couldn't activate them…
