I would give this product an average rating of 3.5 stars. Pros: It's reasonably priced and we got extra stuff where we intended with minimal fuss. The tote bag is a nice addition. Cons: There is one major design flaw; The large flap covering the zip extends across the front and at high speeds air enters underneath and inflates it, creating noise and drag and compromising waterproofing. (We had gotten some stuff wet in a front corner of the bag otherwise it would have kept our stuff dry. The tighter it ties the quieter but that brings me to the quality. The stitching for the straps isn't good. I have ripped one of the straps half way when I first tightened it I can't speak to the durability as we only used it for about 400 miles (average speed 68-75 mph) but other than that I broke one, before i left cos it had no other damage when we got to our destination finally it will make fuel economy worse we usually get 24+ in our jeep grand cherokee and we only managed 18mpg not really the bags fault I guess I just something to keep in mind, overall the price justifies the purchase if you need something in a pinch like we did and I would recommend it for that but I don't expect it to last more than a trip or three.
