Nice kit set. I have tried different types of needlework and embroidery is my current one. I'm fairly new to this but I think this might be my favorite. It goes great with the audio book. I try to keep enough on hand to help me get through the winter (because I don't like the cold) but it's so hot these days I find them helpful too. Each individually wrapped, with its own threads, hoops, needles and instructions. Everything you need to get started right away is there except scissors. Between these three there is a good mix of different stitch types (Satin, Outline, Backstitch etc. plus French knot). I've found that the layered rose takes a lot more practice, with some visual help. There are instructions for all the stitches and I was able to figure out basically everything except this one. The pattern is clear and easy to see. When you're done, rinse it off with cold water so you don't end up seeing extra marks. I was pleased with them and enjoyed their presence.
