I have one good thing to say about this spatula and I used it for almost two years before I got any wiser. It absorbs well, lumps do not dissolve. Aside from that, it was also the dustiest filler I've ever used (a huge cloud went up every time I cleaned the box, which happens every day, and my table next to the box was constantly covered in dust) (probably not) . best for my asthmatic lungs). It tracks literally everywhere - my floor will be covered in cat litter within two days. Also, it was incredibly difficult for my 68 year old hands to get into the package - it was like opening a safe, but I think a safe would be easier since you at least have a combination! After doing some research on dust-free litter (yes, it's a "thing"), I settled on BoxieCat litter. Yes, it is heavier and more expensive. But the small pockets make it easy to manage, pretty easy to get in and out of, and the fact that I didn't see any dust makes it worth the extra money. I no longer have to breathe in cat litter dust! And my desk is much, much cleaner now. My cat doesn't track it anywhere, even next to the box. You get what you pay for.
