For those of you who are worried about it being "cheap from China" and keep reading reviews about it breaking, don't worry. It's a simple device, but it works surprisingly well. If it "keeps turning off" then either the sensitivity is set to full or you are standing next to something that is transmitting. If you have Wi-Fi at home, it'll pick up anywhere in the house and maybe a block or two if it's fully on. That's good, not bad. You have to turn off Wi-Fi and cell phones when using it, but you just dial the sensitivity down enough to get a yellow bar or two but no beep. Move it around until it turns off, lower the sensitivity a little more, move it again to see where the signal is coming from, and repeat until you find the device you're grabbing. This is just a simple RF receiver and must be used as a whole. It's not magic. It has an internal battery and comes with a USB cable and charging socket. (Mini D looks like an old cell phone or a modern camera). Its light weight with a beautiful metallic finish. It's not plastic and doesn't feel cheap at all. Simple and gets the job done. I'm happy with that.
