Cards work great but some were defective and cost over $500 to fix

So, installed these in my little used late 2014 i7 iMac i7. and make sure they fit properly. I closed the memory cover and turned on the computer, the screen kept flickering and went black. Tried another reboot, screen looked fine and I logged in, looked at About This Mac which only showed 16GB out of 32GB. in the slots as soon as I closed the window to shut down the computer to make sure they weren't installed properly - heard a loud pop and the computer turned off and never turned back on. All cards removed and old memory installed, computer was dead. Eventually I called the experts and they tested all 4 cards and found I had received 2 bad cards (they thought they could be fixed or used). Luckily, Revain fixed this problem very quickly and got a new set of 32GB cards shipped straight away. Unfortunately, the OWC cards cost me over $250 for work and over $200 for a new SSD + flash drive. After 24 hours I got my computer back with my 2 OWC (Good cards) and 2 of my original memories in it and the new memory from Revain replaced my 2 old cards with the new OWC cards and it works great. I suspect I have either faulty cards or used cards (maybe someone installed them incorrectly and sent them back, or just sent back broken cards). I haven't lost double the price of these cards which caused a lot of headaches. On the other hand, WORKING cards work fine for me now! Be careful if you installed these cards correctly and you are having trouble turning on the computer. Be very sure before turning it back on that it's best to send them back and just assume the cards are faulty before frying your internal elements. your computer.
