Review on 🔊 Enhanced KEF KUBE 10b Subwoofer by Barber Miller

First off, the Kube's sound is great. Mine, however, had a defect that caused it to randomly emit a continuous bass hiss at full volume. The deafening noise continued until the subwoofer was turned off. Happens about once every couple of weeks. KEF support has always been responsive but got me jumping through hoops including recording sounds to send to them. When they agreed to work on it I was asked to either disassemble the subwoofer myself to send them the board or drive 3 hours one way to the nearest authorized workshop. I choose the latter so as not to be responsible for any damage. This process took several months and cost $100 in gas before it was repaired. In short, I like the sound but would like a faster and more convenient solution from KEF. short time. Contacted KEF again and was asked to replace the cables. I explained that EVERYTHING in my setup was new as the sub was originally sent back for repair so it MUST be a sub. KEF asked me to send it back for further diagnostics! Told them I was done with this headache and they offered me a loan for a high end model. As a big fan of KEF, I'm very disappointed in Kube.
