Customize your kube even further by adjusting the gain, phase, low pass filter, and crossovers to your liking. The kube 10b subwoofer features KEF smart compression limiting, which allows the subwoofer to play louder and remain dynamic while preventing over excursion of the driver and amplifier clipping. A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Plays alongside KEF Q350 and Marantz NR1510. Played great with speakers. It is not even clear in what places the speakers are still working, and where the sub has already connected. Some pros: There are no complaints about the sound, but there is no wow effect either. No booming, no left overtones, just a great tight bass. Stunning looks and build quality, but with nuances Different cons: At a low signal level, sometimes it does not come out of hibernation, in order to turn on you need a kick…

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

Fathers, do not rush, but I did not like the sub. Rather so. This is a theater subwoofer. He is very good at punching. Explosions, concussions, etc. But, it's not musical. And I took it specifically for music and bass boost to a KEF Q 150 stereo pair. I (personally) don't like how the sub plays. I tried with adjustment, with permutation, etc. and did NOT achieve musical bass, that's what . well. Everywhere punch in varying degrees. You decrease it . and there is no longer any sense in the…

Pros
  • Sub is cool. Very powerful (in a panel high-rise building)
Cons
  • Not for music in my opinion

Outstanding Performance

This woofer was recommended after my previous unit gave up the ghost after more than 15 years of faithful service. KEF Kube met all requirements perfectly. The sound is excellent.

Not impressed, too weak, too expensive

I love KEF speakers. I have LS50 and a Q series. I needed a subwoofer to upgrade my home theater and I didn't even think about buying another brand. Received this and was delighted. It replaced a cheap 8" Pioneer subwoofer and I hardly noticed a difference. When I did a side by side comparison it sounded messy and less punchy than even Pioneer's. Came right back and ordered a SVS at a comparable price and I did was blown away by its performance Really very disappointed in KEF in this case.

Pros
  • New to my collection

Great subwoofer. Amazing bass from a single sealed 10 " driver.

Very compact and beautiful. The bass is very tight and fast. Very well integrated with my LS50 speakers. The crossover is set to 80 Hz. Replaced the Sony Dual 10 subwoofer and the upgrade exceeded expectations. The old sub woofer muddy the sound and just couldn't keep up with the LS50 speakers - the crossover for that had to be set to 50Hz. This little miracle has no such problems. Positive aspects: tight, undistorted bass, nominal frequency up to 24 Hz +/- 3 dB, easy tuning. Good behaviour…

BIG improvement LS50 LSX

If you have a Kef LS50/Wireless or LSX it will greatly improve the overall sound quality of your system. Many reviewers of the ls50 lsx say that the bass is adequate. However, you can improve it from good enough to excellent. Not just on the bass side. In addition, the mids and highs are enhanced, allowing the speakers to focus on those areas while the subwoofer does the work at low frequencies. It's like putting steroids on speakers. I set the treble to 105Hz and the bass to 90Hz on Lsx. The…

Pros
  • Useful beyond intended use
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Works great with LS50 speakers

Thought I'd try the subwoofer with the new Kef LS50 speakers I recently bought. I went with the 10" Kef driver, an 8" driver would work great in this small space, but what happens if one day you move your system to a larger room or? Good choice as it fits perfectly. Subwoofers are subjective, they can sound terrible in one place and incredible in that place. Well this 10 inch speaker works great in a room this size, in the corner, with these speakers and just a stereo. I can't say how it will…

Cheap materials and no sound quality

Wow what a disappointment. I just have great respect for KEF for its acoustic lines, especially. Bookcase columns, great British design. This subwoofer, on the other hand, is - and it's not being polite to say it - completely useless. I bought this at Revain for about $400 at a great price. As always great service from Revain. The device arrived and tested the Kube in a variety of settings - from a large living room to a small bedroom - and it never came to life. I did an A/B comparison with…

Good sound but broken sound with UPDATE

First off, the Kube's sound is great. Mine, however, had a defect that caused it to randomly emit a continuous bass hiss at full volume. The deafening noise continued until the subwoofer was turned off. Happens about once every couple of weeks. KEF support has always been responsive but got me jumping through hoops including recording sounds to send to them. When they agreed to work on it I was asked to either disassemble the subwoofer myself to send them the board or drive 3 hours one way to…
