The lamps have a great glow that does not irritate the eyes, burns too close to the sun, bright enough and soft. The white is warm white and the fade modes are perfect, the light never goes out completely but only changes color slowly. Some decor colors are also "pastel" which is nice as they range from bold colorful regular Christmas colors to warm white. Warning. This flicker setting 9 is just crazy about wood. you have been warned Note. The plug is very different and cannot be connected to "normal" Christmas lights. If you need more together, it should be the same connector end. Personally, I recommend a different set of these to everyone.
