[[ASIN:B004H8FNF8 Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H70 16.1 Megapixel Digital Camera with 10x Optical Wide Angle Zoom G Lens and 3.0" LCD (Blue) Hobby. Worn out as my equipment and my eyesight was not good anymore I lost interest and gave it up. About 12 years ago I received a digital camera from a family member who always wants the best and latest. It was a nice little camera. Easy to use but it wasn't much fun with my bad eyesight and I only used it on rare occasions but it wasn't a hobby I was recently looking for a new camera and was comparing several major brands under $200 They are of course very advanced technically I was able to narrow my search down to 3 cameras and spent a lot of time weighing the pros and cons of each camera I have the Kam in development eras carefully studied for simplicity, quality, functionality, etc. It was the large 3 inch screen that finally convinced me to choose the DSC-H70; as well as additional features that allow me to be creative enough at this stage of life. WOW what a difference! The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H70 is very easy to use. You can actually see what you are photographing and; I had no issues with glare or not being able to see what was on the screen when using it outdoors. I'm still learning all the extra features; but it was so easy to set up and I was able to try it out in no time. The instructions could be a bit more detailed and perhaps include an extensive index. But the in-camera support is good if you don't have an instruction manual with you. This is a great camera for the price. Also, her shade of blue is my favorite color. Hooray! Now I don't have to squint or point my finger to guess what's in the photos. I would like the camera to come complete with all accessories. If so, then I couldn't find it. Included with the camera was a strap with a cord, a cable for carrying, a CD with software, a battery, and a charger. I was disappointed with the quality of the charger. it feels like it could break easily. I can actually squeeze the sides of the charger a bit. It's not made of tough hard plastic like the ones I've seen before; and it has no travel charger adapter. The charger charged the battery without getting hot. Please note that no memory card is included. It has enough internal storage for 3 photos. Conclusion: FOR THE PRICE THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE CAMERA! It's not just point and shoot. It has a few extra features that you can get creative with. this. Self portrait timer, manual operation mode, auto mode option and many more that I haven't played with yet. The advanced video option sounds like fun. I'm waiting for my memory card to arrive along with my memory foam lined hard shell camera case so I can enjoy my new camera.
