My wife calls this camera the mighty mouse. The quality of the lens is its strength. The features, including excellent video capabilities, are also top notch. The only area that's a little less than ideal is the lack of contrast when viewed in bright sunlight. You need to dim the LCD. However, this is true for most cameras.

This product was exactly as described and arrived in perfect condition. Looks brand new including the box and all accompanying papers. I had to charge the battery but other than that it's a great camera. I'm still learning how to use it before I go on vacation but I really feel this camera is perfect for my trip. This camera is nice and compact, but I can see the LCD screen very well and am visually impaired. . Many Thanks

I had a cyber shot (wanted to increase my MP) before buying it and am SO happy I chose this model. It's easy to use, I didn't have to read the manual, I just played around with it a bit. Bought this camera just before a trip to Italy. My Canon wasn't working properly and I was in desperate need of another camera. The Sony Cybershot dsc-h70 was a great choice! It's that easy to use the settings. I could never really understand Canon's settings or icons no matter how many times I read the manual, but this camera was great. Plus this camera - close-ups. It does an excellent job. They can literally be INCHES from the subject, while even at 50mm my DSLR should be about a foot from the subject. The downside is that it focuses terribly on distant subjects as well as moving subjects. I tried aerial photography and about 80% did NOT work. Focus was either absent, blurry, or fuzzy.
