My new car was attacked by a poorly hanging metal realtor sign that blew off on a very windy day last fall. The result was a deep dent in my bumper as well as a few small scuffs, scratches and areas of paint transfer. Of course, the agent refused to pay for the repair, calling it a natural disaster. I'm pretty sure God would have hung the sign properly so it wouldn't be blown away by the wind, but I digress. I've tried to buff out the minor scratches and transfer the paint with detail spray and a microfiber cloth, to no avail, to little effect other than creating entirely new scratches (I was desperate, clueless and angry, bad combo). My car also had a few minor scuffs that were present when I bought it new. This product was my last and most successful attempt to repair most of the damage. I spot cleaned the areas first with a no water car wash, then went to town with my $17 hand polisher and within minutes the small scratches, scuffs and color transfer were gone. Deeper scratches have been significantly reduced but not completely eliminated. I agree as they are not visible unless you look closely. I didn't bother using it on Gouge as that's not what it's designed for. This only works for small, superficial scuffs and scratches and doesn't work for anything beyond the clear coat. My door sill on the driver's side was also covered in small scratches that annoyed me every time I saw them. I tried hand sanding them first which removed most of the scratches but I used a microfiber covered wax applicator which left some sanding marks. Be sure to only use this product with the FOAM applicator, whether you're using a buff or doing it by hand. Microfiber isn't really designed for the very heavy scrubbing of paint that this product requires. I went over the spot again with the foam applicator, which removed the marks of rubbing. In general, I am very satisfied with the results. This product eliminated most of the initial damage on top of the damage I caused myself in my previous attempts. Unfortunately I was only able to attach a few photos as it's almost impossible to get a decent close-up of black color when the lighting isn't right. . The first photo shows small scratches on my door sill that I hand polished with a wax applicator. The second is one of the patches of color transfer and abrasions caused by the Kamikaze Broker's mark. They were removed with this product and a cheap hand polisher.
