Great device for older iPod/iOS users who don't need a pin-to-lightning adapter

I use it to keep track of time in the bedroom and wake up to my iPod. It works fine, except that the date does NOT show the month and day (e.g. October 27th) but rather "Mon 27th". I highly recommend this to people who have older iPod/iOS devices that require a 30 pin connector and don't want to buy a pin to lightning adapter.
