IHome Stereo System Alarm IPhone Review

Glad I read the reviews before buying: someone mentioned you need to put batteries in for it to work at full capacity and they were right. As soon as I did it I liked it. It's nice to wake up to the music of your choice. I like the feature that allows you to set an alarm for days of the week only.

Bought this for my mom. She is just thrilled! I've set her to always play her gospel music and when she doesn't want to stop listening just press pause on the iPod and press it again when she wants to listen again (she's not computer/ipod savvy). It is very easy to manage and use this device.

I installed it in the combined living and dining room and it really can be heard throughout the house. I picked this one specifically because of the older iPod connector and it's used by everyone in my family. It charges our devices quickly, connects easily to a 30-pin Lightning adapter, and the sound quality is excellent.

I use it to keep track of time in the bedroom and wake up to my iPod. It works fine, except that the date does NOT show the month and day (e.g. October 27th) but rather "Mon 27th". I highly recommend this to people who have older iPod/iOS devices that require a 30 pin connector and don't want to buy a pin to lightning adapter.

Great features include: sound quality considering the price and size, auto sync with i-device to set time and date automatically, it's nice that you can wake up to playlists on your device . The built-in radio rarely picks up local radio stations, but it works. It's much easier to program your alarm settings from your iPad or iPhone. but it works fine without these devices. overall I'm quite happy with it

I wanted to fall in love with this clock radio; however, I couldn't. It had a great sound! My iPod classic and iPad 3 fit perfectly in the dock. I received the first one but the watch didn't glow so I sent it back. The second was ordered by another seller; it caught fire, but the clock face was broken, especially in a way that made it unreadable. I returned it and gave up. Both sellers quickly refunded my money.

I have had many iHome products over the years and this one was just average compared to others but it is one of the best when placed alongside many other docks in the business. I personally prefer the 30-pin connector underneath the buttons, like some older iHome alarm clocks, but other than that the sound quality is excellent and even when not connected to an iPod or iPhone it will prove reliable and aesthetically pleasing. Alarm.
