These locks were perfect and just what I needed. I have an old tool box that is long gone with the original latches. I use it to store my power tools but when I tried to transport it the lid came off. I chose these snaps and they are perfect. The description says they have a pull force of 330 pounds. I can lift the drawer with all my power tools and it stays locked and doesn't move. I probably only have about 80 pounds of tools. I also mounted the wheels on the bottom. Now he's like new. I highly recommend these locks and will definitely buy them again. By the way, they also work diagonally. The lid of the box and the box itself are not aligned, but the latch works great even at an angle.
