Enhanced Flexibility with Upgraded Adjustable Release Latches Review

These works are almost perfect for my project. The side of the latch or striker plate, whatever you want to call it, has the mounting holes next to each other and it wouldn't work with my 3/4 inch stock. So I bought 2 1/2" angle brackets and bent them into a U shape. Then cut off one side to make new latches with holes in a line as you can see in the picture.

bought 6 sets 4001 lever fasteners to tighten the refrigerator door to help the old failed irreparable seal. Only 1 lock needed. Fixed latch wobble by adding a 10nf32 (10-32) nut to lock the adjustment in place. It is recommended to remove the adjustable part and store it so that the nut will fit and rotate smoothly. These locks were perfect and just what I needed. I have an old tool box that is long gone with the original latches. I use it to store my power tools but when I tried to transport it the lid came off. I chose these snaps and they are perfect. The description says they have a pull force of 330 pounds. I made some compost cups to speed up composting. I used 2 stud bolts on each cup to keep the lid closed while tumbling and to keep critters out. Well they just opened.
