I often have candles with about 1/2 inch of wax left over. I simply stuck three wicks into a #10 jar and cut slits in the plastic lid to hold them upright. I simply melted the old candles in the microwave on very low power and carefully poured the wax into the new candle. . I recommend using oven mitts as you need a good grip. Really great for emergencies!
