This digital adapter is more stylish than others I've purchased in the past. I've been using DVI cables between my GPU and my monitor for years, but the new GPU doesn't have a DVI output. I now use an HDMI cable with this adapter connected to a monitor and have no problem streaming Full HD (1080p60) through it. For a DVI only setup, use a longer HDMI cable. Alternatively, you can use two separate monitors and two cables. This adapter does not pass HDMI audio (as expected, there is no audio on the DVI connector).
