Use it dry and it picks up all those crumbs, cereal, pretzels, doll hats, shoes, and balls of dust that seem to be accumulating in my house at an alarming rate. Walk around with this and a bottle of purifier (see my other Eden's Garden Purify essential oil review. Please! :) and you can tidy up until the cows come home (and your crib will smell great!). It has the skills you need to spot truly horrific things, like the ghostly salt stains that appear on your floors in winter if you live in a winter-prone climate. Collect dust like a champion! If it's too gross, just take it off and throw it in the washing machine! IMPRESSIVE! I haven't done this yet, so I can't say if you should tumble dry it, but as a household goddess, I'll tell you that any fabric will last longer and perform better. if you let it air dry.
