Updated Review: Both ends of the cable insert were very stiff making it difficult to insert the connector. One cable in particular was tricky, so I didn't risk removing it after I connected it—until I accidentally removed it. After that I did not insert anything - there is no device (I tried dozens). When connected, the cables worked very well! And after contacting customer service they quickly agreed to send a replacement - which arrived 4 days ahead of schedule and works fine! Just a bad release - it happens. I am happy with the results.
