The experience with TireTek was surprisingly very positive. After purchasing the pressure gauge, I received a thank you note for the purchase (!) and an assurance that if there were any problems, they would support their product. I registered the device on their website and received an extended warranty. The explanation of usage was clear and simple. I appreciate the fact that this sensor is calibrated to a standard. If you're paying close to $1,000 for four premium truck tires, why not spend a little more for a good tread? I really appreciate the pressure hold feature and the pressure release feature. About a week ago I managed to drop a TireTek sensor off a shelf about 4 feet high onto a concrete garage floor. from the floor. It reads 8 psi constantly. I emailed TireTek asking if it was really 8psi and if so if it could be recalibrated somehow. I was perfectly willing to pay a small fee and shipping to get it working again. Within 6 hours the company co-founder wrote back apologizing for the tool (absolutely MY fault but HE apologized?!) and offering to send a new one! It arrived within 5 days. THIS IS AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! PLEASE BUY FROM THIS GUY! I will buy more and give them to my gear friends as stockings/gifts.
