Fantastic product. One of the best finishes I've ever used. A little goes a long way. You should really work with him! You can't apply it too thinly, but you can easily apply it too thickly. I've tried different methods and the best was to just get on my hands and knees and use a microfiber cloth. Only do small sections at a time. If you need to stop, just leave a feathered edge and it will blend in perfectly when you start again. I didn't like the Osmo brush. I couldn't apply it thinly enough and the brush is very difficult to clean. The microfiber cloth can simply be thrown away. Actually, it doesn't stink that much either. I don't find that any more offensive than latex paint. I've had this case for 2 years now and I'm very happy with it. I recommend this to everyone. The floor was completely shattered when I started and I didn't bother sanding deep enough to remove the deep scratches and all was fine. Works really well with a floor that already has "character". It scratches easily, but that outweighs how easily it can be repaired. Simply place small felt pads on the furniture and that's it. At the moment it appears to be VERY water and spill resistant. It definitely takes a long time to fully heal. I would recommend using an Osmo branded cleaner. That works great.
