Review on Fel Pro MS95787 Plenum Gasket Set by Justin Pavelko

This is the first time I have had a bad experience with a Fel-Pro product. The gasket itself is fine, but the little plastic dowels are a pain in the ass. With the original GM part, the dowel sleeves were crimped onto the seal. They are simply pressed into the seal. Until you come across a gasket while trying to install a pressure chamber. They then break off and fall into the inlet. Luckily for me, the valve on that port was closed and I was able to get it out without taking my head off. But this design sucks. It's almost impossible to fit a camera to these trucks without bumping into a seal as there are many cables and pipes in the way. Having something like this that can just pop out and sit right next to an open intake port is a disaster. When I was finally able to hold this thing in place, it was sealed well and doesn't appear to be leaking, but it was a major hassle to install.
