Here's a trick to attaching it to the handlebars: the strap that attaches the flashlight to the handlebars doesn't come off completely because the end of the strap has no thread. You must remove everything from one side of the handlebar to attach it. The trick is to cut off the end of the strap. Then the belt comes out completely. You can't return it, but it's so cheap it's not worth returning. The handle is difficult to turn. You may need pliers. To rotate the lantern holder, first place the lantern in the holder so you have enough leverage to rotate it. I started using it and it seems fine, but it doesn't seem very reliable so I'm worried it might break.
