This works amazing! It's not too rough to hurt, but not so soft that it seems like it won't do anything. My skin feels so smooth after use. Now, as far as exfoliating goes, I wouldn't use it every day (maybe every other day) because if you exfoliate too much you run the risk of irritating your pores. So if you use it every day and find that you are flushed or your pores are enlarged, then it has more to do with over-exfoliation than the product itself. You can use this all over your face (I have fairly sensitive skin on mine face) as long as you don't press too hard. It perfectly removes stubborn foundation and rinses off quickly and easily.
