My husky/healer mix must hate the smell of citronella because she tries hard not to bark in this collar. it doesn't hold much oil. The oil lasts about 2 days before it needs to be refilled. One beep before spraying is enough to keep my dog from barking for about half a day after the oil has run off. Excellent battery life, one charge lasts about a week. The remote works as advertised, although I didn't check the distance as I'm using auto mode on the collar. Bonus: the house smells like oranges!
