I began using the Tile Leveling System (1/8 th inch) on an 800 sq ft job. When I tried removing the spacers the next day, the spacers DID NOT break off as they were supposed to. Many broke off, leaving the plastic vertical portion of the spacer sticking out between the tiles. I then had to use a multi-tool to cut out the plastic pieces that were sticking up above the floor. (Several tiles were chipped while removing the broken spacers). This was time consuming and tedious.I stopped using the system when I realized how much more work the removal of broken spacers was causing. I will be returning the unused spacers and I will not use this system on upcoming tiling project.
