Review on πŸ”Œ Soldering Heat Sink: 4pc 2-inch Solid Copper Alligator Clips for Electronics Testing & DIY, 10A Rated & Up to 10AWG Wire by Evan Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Copper clips are better

These clips are very well designed. The most common alligator clips on the market are made of nickel-plated steel. But steel is not nearly as good an electrical conductor as copper or aluminum. The steel clips also get hot with prolonged use. These clips fit 10 gauge automotive braided wire as specified. I used a propane torch to solder them to the wire. They also have a small retainer at the end of the wire rod to hold the soldered wire in place.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Sad packaging
