Strange metal smell
I have had this product for about 5 months and have only used it to store cold water. It keeps water cold but when I used it yesterday I had an odd smell and metallic texture when drinking from this bottle. I have an obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleaning. This way the item is hand washed daily, never in the dishwasher, and fully air dried before each closing of the storage lid. I've never noticed the metallic smell, but it makes me seriously consider throwing this bottle away. It's a shame as it looks like new from the outside. I used it maybe once a week.
