If you're using an iPhone case, first make sure you're using a case with built-in Magsafe magnets. As a long time Popsocket user, when I first got the iPhone 12 Pro Max I went without my Popsocket for months until I found the original Metissino base. I like this because with all the other Magsafe accessories you definitely want the Magsafe functionality and you don't want to interrupt your popsocket/phone call. The original base is really good (I still use it with the spare popsocket) and with this base plus version there is potential for other uses. I tried adding a ring holder to the edge of the plus base and it works well as a trivet too! The Base Plus may be slightly larger and heavier than the original, but the additional magnets make it safer and more comfortable to use. To keep. I highly recommend this item!
