Simple mount that could use a better hardware package

Usage: I installed an Epson Homecinema 2150 on a false ceiling using this ceiling mount. I screwed the bracket directly to the ceiling joists with the included 3" screws, ignoring the anchors. You will need to use anchors if this is being mounted to a drywall ceiling. Verdict: This is a very affordable mount that gets the job done. This can cause some headaches due to the small size of the mounting hardware. However, it offers devices of different sizes to ensure that it works with different models of projectors. Pros: - The general build quality of the metal components is solid. - The mounting plate for fixing the projector has four levers that allow flexible mounting. You may or may not need all four hands. The Epson Homecinema 2150 only has 3 mounting holes, so I put one of the clamp arms under the mount and tightened it with the Allen key that came with it. Cables can be routed through the extension of the main cable management bracket. Cons: The hardware comes in a plastic bag that includes washers and screws of various sizes to support different projectors. You could pack any size of hardware in a separate plastic bag - they have tiny plastic washers and standoffs like hardware that's hard to attach, especially with big hands - 3" screws is a bit overkill in my opinion. Especially if you're drilling them into a joist, a 2 ยฝ inch screw might suffice.
