Frequency stability and accuracy.
The radio works well if you don't expect fine tuning. AGC is a joke. This changes the frequency you hear even though the readings stay the same. the sensitivity is good. I use a hand wound loop antenna and it picks up just as well as my G5RV antenna. Overall, it's a good emergency receiver.
- The antenna interface uses BNC, and the PCB keeps the SI4735 package, you can replace the chip yourself, the software is compatible.
