Review on πŸ₯€ Vitamix Ascent Series 48 oz. Container with SELF-DETECT - Perfect for Blending Efficiency and Convenience by Alex Foley

I like settings - turn it on and go!

I replaced my 10-12 year old Vitamix with a Vitamix Ascent. It seemed like such a bust, but since I use it at least once a day, it's not a problem as long as it lasts as long as my old one. It's BPA FREE, which is important. The only reason I threw away my old one was because while mixing I thoughtlessly removed the lid and stuck a crushed plunger in. The engine was never the same, although it worked. The warranty has expired, I'm giving it to someone who can pay for the repair. I was ready for an upgrade. I bought the smaller 48 oz. Container (my age doesn't match Ascent) as I usually make smoothies for one person. I've heard that a large container won't mix if there isn't enough volume in it. A 64-ounce container is gathering dust in the basement. Unfortunately, you'll have to purchase the 48-ounce container separately. dean for it. I didn't know how much I would really like the programmable settings. This is my favorite feature. I don't have to monitor my smoothie and adjust the speed; I just push the button, clean up the kitchen, put the glass on the counter and pour! 1) Smoothie mode: I add a little more water than the recipe calls for so it doesn't freeze. It works well with frozen fruit, leafy greens, salad shakes - YES! half a carafe of water and turn it on if I mix anything with oil, onions, or other strong flavors; again it turns off when it's done. 3) SELECT THE MANUAL SETTING WITH THE MIXING BOWL1: A) Ideal for crushing nuts. B) I used a smaller 1-cup mixing bowl to make a mix of soaked dates, cocoa, and cashews for "Truffle". ", it was sticky a lot; had to unscrew 6-8 times to reduce the amount of mixture at once. I can see what happens when I use a medium sized container. However. 4) I LOVE their scraper to get the Sticky to remove Tasty truffle blends Expensive piece of plastic but great for scraping the teeth and sides of large containers Surprisingly it gets enough uses 5) DRY INGREDIENTS CONTAINER: I used this on flaxseeds to turn them into flaxseed flour - PERFECT!So much cheaper and fresher than buying it from the store. I will try it in smaller mixing bowls and see what happens. So after a few months of daily use I became an Ascent fan given the programmable settings and the ability to add smart accessories like smaller mixing bowls cost extra.I would do it again. No regrets.
