I'm crazy about my Vitamix blender! The large container is great for large batches but not very suitable for smaller batches due to the strong blending abilities, smaller batches will be thrown aside and off the blades. I replaced my 10-12 year old Vitamix with a Vitamix Ascent. It seemed like such a bust, but since I use it at least once a day, it's not a problem as long as it lasts as long as my old one.
