I used to use leftover post-it stickers to cover my webcam. It's much more comfortable and won't fall off. These sleeves are nice and thin and don't interfere with closing the laptop. They hold up well and are easy to open and close. When applying, you must ensure that the frame does not cover any part of the webcam lens. My old eyes needed extra light to make sure I hadn't screwed up. Maybe it would be easier if contrasting colors were used instead of black on black. However, I installed it in minutes.
