Review on 🏃 Enhanced Performance: STEPPERONLINE 1042A Micro Step Resolutions (20-50VDC) by Mike Meyers

Works great, fantastic machine. However, I don't understand why the signal screw terminals are split into 2 and 4 holes while the power and motor terminals are even 6. The green parts can be detached from the device and have multiple stepper motors. , it was easier to just disconnect the motor from the driver, replace it with another one, disconnect the signal connector, connect to another UC while keeping the same power cable. I now have motors with each attached power cords and a useless two piece section attached to my UCs because I can't fit a straight six in them. I wonder what motivates this decision. Why would it make more sense to be able to separate the enable signal terminals instead of power and ground?
