It does exactly what you expect. It's a indispensable tool for cleaning carboys and bottles which I use nearly weekly. I only had one major problem: the quick disconnect (QD) at the faucet. If you accidentally twist the hose the wrong way the QD comes flying apart under any water pressure at all. The holding tabs only hold it together at a very specific spot and which has a habit of twisting around. Luckily the problem was easily fixed with a whole lot of tape holding the QD in the right spot. I'm not sure what other tools even use the QD. but it can't be worth the pain of suddenly getting hot water shooting you in the face.
