Review on Hillsound Trail Crampon - Ice Traction 🏔️ Device with 11 Carbon Steel Spikes, 2-Year Warranty by John Ghattamaraju

I am not an experienced ice climber or mountaineer. I bought these cats for trips to New Zealand and Iceland, and I also keep them in my car when I'm doing winter photography in the Sierras. On my recent trip to Iceland they excelled on all types of hard ice, shiny ice, wet and waterfall ice, snow, frozen ground and rocky conditions. They're easy to put on and take off (do yourself a favor and exercise from the comfort of your living room, at least with gloves on), feel very durable, and are a major contributor to safety on this journey. Our glacier guides provided similar cats for visitors who hadn't brought their own and praised the quality of Hillsound. I bought them after researching recommendations from other standard brands. They were cheaper than some of the other brands and according to many reviews they were of significantly higher quality. The red model isn't as bright as some of the competing orange models, but it's bright enough to be seen in low light and against dark boots. Very satisfied.
