Review on 🚴 Impressive iGPSPORT iGS10S: GPS Bike Computer with ANT+, Heart Rate Monitor, and Speed Cadence Sensor Integration by Reginald Ward

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Excellent GPS. But it is always difficult to connect to the phone.

started positively. Loved it. I opened it and installed the app. It connected to my phone immediately and I started changing the settings. I took it on a quick bike ride and it seemed to track mileage and speed accurately. Estimating % is a nice feature but the delay is about 3-5 seconds. It appears to be a combination of GPS and acceleration data. BAD NEWS: It only connected to my phone once. I've tried everything. Even reinstalled the app and restarted. Bluetooth on and off. There is no way to connect to it. There is no way to download my first test drive. I assume if I can't boot it's a useless device. UPDATE: I wanted to connect successfully after every ride, but only after removing the device from the phone in the app each time. It's not too painful, but it's pretty stupid that I can't just connect the device to my phone and sync it successfully. Anyway, I also tried 2 other cheap GPS models - meilan and xoss and both had trouble getting the GPS and getting accurate data, although both were easier to get data from and easier to connect to my phone. Xoss had a better app than iGPSport and the Bluetooth connection was more reliable. I ended up leaving iGPSport and going back to xoss and meilan because iGPSport has the best GPS accuracy despite the difficulties in connecting to my phone.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
