These curlers will fit. They may not be as effective for all hair types. I have thick, straight Asian hair and have tried curlers a few times after my hair has dried slightly but not completely. Since my hair is long, I have to use hot curler clips to hold the curlers in place while I blow dry them with a hot dryer. My high quality ceramic ion thermal roller brushes create a much better curl as well as better staying power than these self gripping ceramic rollers. The rollers are made of soft, flexible plastic with an outer layer of tiny, short bristles and what appears to be a thin film on the inside.
