That's why I'm giving this 1 star: PRO: 1) According to the description, these are rolls, these are blue, they are 2 inches In diameter. CONS (assuming to be ambiguous): 1) they are NOT self-locking. I have shoulder length hair - not very long and not very short - and these curlers can't do without clips. 2) Using hair clips has created curls in my hair. 3) They're plastic. If any ionic ceramic technology is used, it is impossible to discover. 4) Non-refundable. Here's a scam. money wasted.

I used hair rollers from another brand but they come in different sizes and now my hair is longer. These videos were worse compared to others. I think the outer foil strips don't conduct the heat from the hair dryer to the hair all the way through the curler. Another brand has a much more thermally conductive material on the inside of the roller. I'm sending this back.

I have VERY thick, long, curly hair. These reels, *when used correctly*, are amazing. I've used velcro rollers from some of the cheaper brands and find them the most effective. Use: I curl my hair just before I shower on the days I don't wash it. I don't wear a shower cap because a little moisture from the steam really helps the curls hold. Required 1 3/4" self-tightening rollers. Received them. I would give 5 if it weren't for the false advertising and description. These are ordinary cheap plastic hair rollers .Good for the price.
