I use this flashlight and tripod mostly with my PC and webcam instead of my phone and it holds the camera well even at high angles; better than having it on my monitor. The light is great for use in my office/studio where fluorescent lighting creates poor lighting, for front or back lighting. I turn on a lamp in the background and use this light in front. I have to say it's great to see your face in the mirror before a meeting instead of using your camera to assess if your hair or makeup needs a touch up and I can do it on the spot with the right lighting and do with or without zoom! The light is powered by an AC/DC power cord (included) that goes with everything else in the included travel case. I put the foam from the box in the bag for extra security. A small detail: this was not a problem for me, but the instructions are not very good and detailed, which can increase the installation time for those who are not so inclined, but a little patience and you will be up and running in no time.
