If you've never tried these they will revolutionize the way you drink - now I always keep a bottle of champagne open "Glass only. ' Fits 95% of the bottles I've tried and stays fresh for a week or two - you can even keep it on its side again in the wine fridge. It loses some of its shine every time you open it, but not badly, and it's almost as fresh for 4 jars as it was for the first jar! (Champagne, cava, and sparkling rosé don't seem to oxidize like regular wine.) For those unaffected, remember that like cola, moving/squeezing after opening kills the carbonation, regardless of whether it's good is locked. The same applies to multiple openings. When transporting it, carry it in your hands instead of putting it in your pocket (it's also very easy to accidentally loosen the cap when the bottle is in something) and you'll get 4+ reopenings of it.
