Review on 🚲 Cygolite Dash 460 Lumen Headlight & Hotshot Micro 30 Lumen Tail Light Combo Set: USB Rechargeable Bicycle Lights in Black and Red - Compact and Efficient by Timothy Johnson

Great lightweight easy to charge torch set

I didn't purchase this set from Revain at first but bought it from my local outdoor gear co-operative during the fall sale. I'm so glad I made the purchase! I was worried that the 30 lumen taillight wouldn't be bright enough, but it's very noticeable. I use it in random flash mode and the flashes are too bright to see from close range and very bright even from a distance. The headlight has a good combination of modes for visibility as well as illumination of the path. I usually drive around 18-20 mph and the beam is enough to light my path very well (on the road mostly dark paths and bike lanes "shadowed" by trees from street lights). Loading is easy and the straps make it easy to detach/attach to the handlebars and seatpost. The tail light does not attach properly to my Topeak bag under the seat which has horizontal webbing allowing the lights to be mounted vertically. However, my seat is high enough that I can easily accommodate both the rear light and the bag. I like the memory feature, which turns on the last lighting mode when the power button is briefly pressed. I tend to turn it on as soon as I start riding, so being able to bend over and turn on the taillight without looking and still be sure it's turning on in the correct attention-grabbing mode is a comfort. much that I bought a second set through Revain for my son. I'm sure the lights will give him a safe view and light his way as well as they did for me.
