I've been trying to reduce the physical and power consumption of my pfSense router, and while I rarely need to use the console for anything, there are times when it's useful and efficient to connect a display to it. I used an old 24 inch LCD but it took up so much space and wasted energy. So this seemed like the perfect command line interface solution. I notice that the refresh rate is very low, there is a lot of ghosting on loading - not that it makes much of a difference for my work, but I can't see myself using this with a GUI for long periods of time. It was nice that they included so many mounting options and it looks like it was probably made for in-car use. But the thing is, it looks really cheap. While you can install it in your car to use as a backup camera or multimedia display, the general appearance would really make it look out of place, not to mention the satisfying image quality.
