I used this bag on the Corbin gunner's seat that sits on my Fz-09. The water lining seems to work as advertised. Luckily the designers of this bag used stitching for color accents/branding. I used a knife to cut the seams carefully not to tear the mesh lining. If you rip the mesh there is foam underneath the waterproof lining so there's not much risk of damaging the material unless you cut more threads, but who cares about the $24. Suitable for a day trip with snacks, 2 drinks and a large tool box. If you go beyond that, you may need another bag.
