I was happy to find a fleece that didn't dull my serger blade. I used to sew phone book pages onto bias-cut pieces of fabric to stabilize them, but after a while my serger could barely cut the thread, let alone the fabric. However, there is a learning curve to working with this material. Not only will it stick to your fabric, but it will also stick to the table, sewing machine, other loose fabrics, threads, etc. It will also wrinkle and warp the fabric on contact with a hot iron, making open seams difficult to iron out.
